The overall theme of this feature was sustainability, and as a result we decided to shoot the whole menu on graph paper that we could annotate (after the shoot) with authentic handwritten notations. We used little diagrammatic details as well as handwriting to bring the images to life. We were able to use these illustrations to animate the stills on social channels.
